The PC Engines ALIX 2D2 system board gives network OEMs a cost-effective SBC platform for their value-added software, such as wireless routers, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, industrial Ethernet, or other special purpose network devices.
The board is equipped with a low power fanless AMD Geode LX 800 system processor with 500MHz Clock and 256 MB DDR DRAM, a compact Flash socket for storage, 2 MiniPCI for WLAN radio card, 2 Ethernet port 10/100 MB/s, 2 USB, 1 I/O DB9 serial port.
The board can be powered both by POE passive system through Ethernet port or by power Jack with Voltage between 7 and 20Vdc.
The ALIX 2D2 system Board replace the previous WRAP version and represents, for reliability performance and versatility, the ideal choise for WLAN and networking embedded systems.
Thanks to the compatible x86 architecture, many operating systems, including Windows and Linux, can be installed on a suitable compact flash memory.
